Ondo 33 LCDA Chairmen Congratulate Hon. Amidu Takuro on Reappointment as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs


In a show of solidarity and goodwill, Chairmen of the 33 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in Ondo State today paid a congratulatory visit to Hon. Amidu Takuro, recently reappointed as the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs by the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

The delegation of LCDA Chairmen, led by notable representatives including Hon. Favour Ajayi (Ijare LCDA), Hon. Alaye Adesina (Ilelabo LCDA), Hon. Ibikunle Oguniyi (Igbaotun LCDA), and Hon. Samuel Ogundele (Owo North-East LCDA), presented a specially designed stand banner in honor of the Commissioner’s reappointment. They were also joined by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, who lent his support and presence to the visit.

Speaking during the presentation, the Commissioner, Hon. Amidu Takuro, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the LCDA Chairmen for their thoughtful gesture and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the vision of the Aiyedatiwa-led administration in strengthening grassroots governance and traditional institutions across the state.

> “This reappointment is a call to greater service. I am deeply honored and I assure you all that I will continue to serve with diligence, fairness, and deep respect for the values and aspirations of our people,” he said.

The Chairmen, in a brief goodwill message, praised the Governor for reappointing a man of proven capacity and maturity. They noted that Hon. Takuro’s track record of loyalty, administrative depth, and responsiveness to grassroots matters makes him the right choice to lead the ministry at such a crucial time.

> “We are proud to associate with you and pray for divine wisdom as you continue to contribute to the growth and peace of Ondo State. Your leadership has inspired confidence and unity among council administrators,” the LCDA Chairmen remarked collectively.

The visit was filled with warm interactions, photo sessions, and a renewed commitment from all stakeholders to deepen development at the grassroots level.
