APC Kicks Off Campaign in Grand Style: Hon. Dipo Ajibola and Hon. Mrs. Biola Ijimakinwa Receive Royal Blessings and Massive Support in Ifedore Local Government


The campaign for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifedore Local Government Area officially commenced yesterday with a series of high-profile events that showcased the strength and unity of the party. The campaign kicked off in Araromi, Ijare Zone, amid joy and jubilation as residents welcomed Hon. Dipo Ajibola, the Chairmanship Candidate, and his Vice Chairmanship Candidate, Hon. Mrs. Biola Ijimakinwa.




Royal Blessings at the Palace of the Owa of Araromi
The campaign team’s first stop was the palace of His Royal Majesty, the Owa of Araromi, where they were warmly received by the revered monarch and his council. The traditional ruler expressed his support for the APC candidates, affirming his belief in the party's progressive ideology.



In his remarks, the Owa of Araromi highlighted the critical need for the construction of the Araromi road, emphasizing its economic importance to the local government. Responding to the monarch’s appeal, Hon. Dipo Ajibola assured him that road construction, including the much-needed Araromi road, would be a top priority in his administration. He pledged to deliver on his campaign promises promptly, reiterating his commitment to infrastructure development across Ifedore Local Government.

Hon. Adebusuyi, the APC Campaign Director General, commended Hon. Dipo Ajibola’s administrative experience and unwavering dedication to public service. He confidently stated that Ifedore Local Government is fortunate to have a hardworking and capable leader in Hon. Ajibola. “We believe in your leadership, and we are confident that victory will be ours,” he said, offering prayers for the success of the candidates.



A Community United in Support
As the campaign train moved through Araromi, the town erupted in celebration as supporters filled the streets, demonstrating their solidarity with the APC candidates. In Eka-Mefa, the Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship candidates were welcomed by the Counselorship candidate and community leaders, who reaffirmed their commitment to delivering 100% votes for the APC.

A major highlight of the day occurred at the Ijare Town Hall, where a key figure from the opposition party publicly declared his support for the APC. The defection was met with cheers, as Hon. Dipo Ajibola personally welcomed the new member into the party. The former opposition leader stated his confidence in the APC’s vision and assured the gathering that there was no opposition strong enough to challenge the candidacy of Hon. Ajibola and Hon. Mrs. Ijimakinwa.




   Assurances of Victory from Party Leaders

The immediate  Chairman of the Ijare LCDA Transition Committee, Hon. Favour Ajayi, also pledged his unwavering support for the APC candidates. Speaking in Yoruba, he assured Hon. Ajibola of victory in the forthcoming local government election, emphasizing the readiness of the APC to secure a landslide win.

Statewide Support for the Campaign
The campaign rally was further bolstered by the presence of senior representatives from the state APC leadership. They encouraged electorates in Ifedore to turn out en masse on election day to cast their votes for the APC, assuring them that the party remains committed to delivering impactful governance.
